Hi,

We are in bangalore and we have got our daughter' s cord blood preserved with cryo. she was born on 27th sept.

This is called biological insurance. I think this is one of the best gift that we can give to our kids.
To an extent its true that no of cases that have been cured with stem cells are quite low but its a new concept in India, say aby 4-6 years old. And when our kid will grow awareness will also grow.
I dont have any doubt abt stem cells capabilities in curing diseases like cancer, tumour, arthiritis, diabetes and many more.

It does not cost too much also. 30K and 2.5k every year and that 30K you can pay in 4-5 instalments....we spend so much on clothes and movies and eat outs every month...there' s no harm going for it, its worth saving it.

hope this helps.

Cheers
Anshu

Hi Gia,
I am due next week, we are in US and we plan to save our babys cord blood. We lost very close relatives to cancer at young age and it seems like a good idea to save our babys cord blood.I guess it is the best thing to do for your baby. We hope never to use it but still no harm saving it.
