hey aakas tell wat ur friends told aftr head shave........how you solvd them......thn in which bench you sit in the class ......wat r u going to grow hair soon......thn do you like to do headshave again???????? share your photos with me.......

What you said is absolutely right. I feel great pleasure after my tonsure & feel revealed of my hair which was there on my head till date. A complete change is being felt now. Today when I went to college everyone was surprised about my new appearance & many comments came out. Some of them told its nice to see the new appearance. Many of them started touching my bald head. I could hear some body saying that they find interest in this new style & would like to go for it. May be they too get tonsured on a day. Even my teachers got shocked & passed comments on it. First I was covering my head with a cap, but it was all of sudden when one of my friends who knew that I had gone to Palani, took off the cap from my head in front of all others. I think even before he took off the cap most of them had guessed my head shave as I was free of mustache & beard & that never before I had a clean shave. In spite of all these I really enjoy the new scenario. I think I would go again for a complete head shave.

Isn’t there any one to tell us something? We are setting out to Palani today evening. I can’t imagine the situation after that. My parents stand so stubborn that they would definitely shave of my head & take away my mustache. I can’t imagine myself in a clean shaven look. Some body please give us courage.

We started from home on Saturday morning, though we had planned to start in the evening. Myself along with my brother, father, mother & her cousin’s daughter were in the trip. After we reached there we took a cottage and had rest for sometime. In the morning after daily routines we went to the temple. I was not at all interested in taking rest and was doing everything with no interest. Some how I slept in the night thinking about the tonsure and the comments which I would have to receive after that.

Morning we set to the temple and I could see the large queue waiting in front of tonsure hall. I tried to make delay in going to temple as it was sure that I would loose my hair. But my parents asked to make it quick & my father bought two tokens for the tonsure. There were many who were waiting before us & as time elapsed it increased my tension. I could see even ladies getting their heads tonsured. I saw a young lady who came with her husband getting her head shaved along with her husband. She was not willing for tonsure but that was made compulsory by her m-i-l. There were brothers & wives of her husband also along with father-in-law & m-i-l. So all the four brothers along with their wives had arrived for a family tonsure. It seems that their marriage was also performed together. The two of the ladies were crying while their heads were shaved. I came to know this when my mother took her cousin’s daughter for tonsure in ladies hall.

Then came our turn for the tonsure. I asked brother to have first. Though he had created problems when he was told that his head was going to be tonsured he didn’t find it much difficult as he was only in school. His tonsure went so quick that it finished within 3 minutes. He had a new look after the shave.

Then came my turn. The barber asked me whether it was a full shave or only hair cut. Before I could say something my mother said it was a full head shave. Then the barber asked to bend down the head & with a bit of hesitation I did accordingly. Soon he took the water & wet the hair & rubbed thoroughly. Then he took the half-blade from me & made arrangements with the razor. He then started with the process. I was closing my eyes till I recognized that he had kept his razor on my head. Very soon I saw few hairs that dropped out from my head. Then I realized that I was loosing my hair. Tears started coming out from my eyes when my brother started laughing. This made me more tensed & worried. Then my mother said it was ok & asked my brother to stop laughing. The barber said I would feel nice once he complete the process. Then I gained courage & stopped crying & sat properly for the rest to happen. By then there came the second set of hairs from my head. After about two minutes I realized that almost half of my hair is removed out from my head. I could feel cool on that part & felt happy. His razor was moving so quickly around my head with out making any cuts. Really an expert in his field. By another 2 minutes he shaved of remaining hair also. He then started to rub the razor once again over the head for smooth shave. In between my mother said to shave my beard & mustache also. I requested not to take away that but my mom father as well as the barber said that’s not fine without taking away beard & mustache. He said the tonsure would be complete only by taking away them too. He then asked to raise my chin to take away my beard. He soon finished even with that. He then kept his razor on my mustache. He quickly took away even that. He rubbed the chin & lips once again to ensure complete shave. I thanked him & got up from there. By then I could feel the cool breeze that touched my head & felt really happy. I saw my face in the mirror which was present in my mom’s purse. I felt a drastic change in my appearance. I felt extremely happy & felt a bit released. Even my father & mother felt happy that I got tonsured though I resisted a lot in the beginning. We then proceeded to bath & then went for darshan. The sandal paste applied over head added to cool feeling in my head. Really it was an awesome feeling & felt a new feeling. Then I realized that this was new experience & felt relived of my hair from my head, which was present for many years. We returned back today from Palani & my neighbours & relatives saw our new appearance. As my brother was small nobody had any wonders, but my appearance was really shocking for them even. When I tried to cover with cap etc., my mother said not to cover as its nice if its left free with no caps.

I wonder what would be the reactions & comments of my friends when they see tomorrow in the college. But what ever it is I’m sure that I would go for tonsure again in my life as I enjoy the new appearance a lot & moreover the cool breeze. But sad that out of tension & fear I forgot to takes the camera from my house when proceeded to Palani. I think I should definitely take photos at least next time when I have a head shave.

hi girish.why are feel so sad.its just a hair.nowadays somany young ladies are shaved their head.where are you from.just sit before the barber 3 mins you will bald.send me your before and after head shave.
