how many of u think 3rd/4th level tearing during vaginally birth is more painful and takes more time to heal than c-section?

Each case is unique and until someone has had both at the same time, I don' t think anybody is qualified to say that one is more painful than the other.

Both are painful I' ve heard, so for one to say that 3rd/4th level tear or c-section is less painful is really ignorance I feel.

It reminds me of a friend of mine who once told me that that her delivery was more painful coz she had a boy (compared to someone who had a girl)!! When I said the pain is there in every case and more to do with the position of the baby etc than the gender..she still kept on saying authoritatively that \" no, no, she had a more painful birth becoz she had a boy\" ...

oh well...who ever it is you are asking abt, I hope they recover soon...
