You can try all the methods for sleeping but never bath at night times because when you get older in your later stage, your bones would get affected. This is true. bathing before 6.30 pm should be ok.

Hey buds,

Don;t worry so much about not getting that 8+2 hrs of sleep daily. As long as u are resting enough , it's fine . Pls take rest after long period of standing/cooking .

But u can try a few simple remedies for inducing sleep.
1. Try to drink a glass of warm milk 15-20 min before bedtime. Also keep the lights dim & maybe u can even put on some light music that u enjoy. Basically all this puts u in the mode of sleepness.
2 Try taking a warm bath jus before going to sleep. This is very soothing & it really helps.
3. Try not to excercise to close to ur nap time . U shud give some time for ur body to unwind.

I am in my 32 week . My dd is 21st sep. I was also having terrible sleep problems right from my 24th week. But my doc said thats OK. Nothing to worry about as long as i am not too tired & rest periodically.

I have even bought a body pillow that supports my back & tummy :). I am able to sleep much better these days . Though i sleep onnly 4-5 hrs at nite . Rest i try to sleep during the day .

Hope these remedies help u. keep us updated

bye
Archana

Dear All,

I'm Dr. Meghna Bharath. I'm a strong proponent of Natural Birthing.

In the run-up to becoming a Mom myself, I prepared for Natural birth and delivered naturally. Recently I encouraged and supported my younger sister and close friends deliver naturally as well [through remote advice, since we were across a 10-hour timezone :)].
