Tina, good to know everything went fine on your doctors visit,did you get to hear the heart beat of your baby??. suprsingly my doctor never asked me about my fammily history. just curious, i wanted to know what other things your doctor asked or did tests on , you know so we could compare, my doctor took blood test, urine test, and pap and ultrasound. thats about it? and you??

They said they would take the ultrasound at the next visit. I had to fill a big questionare about any probs that might have occurred in both of our families.they took urine,blood,pap and breast exam. and they gave some books for reading. that was the best part.
as per the notes some of the medications and foods to avoid are

caffeine
digel
smoking
alcohol
pepto-bismol
aspirin
artificial sweetners - nutrasweet,saccharin
advil,mortin,any ibuprofen products

I had some 0% fat strawberry yogurt some days back. yesterday after reading this, my husband ajith checked the ingredients and found that it has artificial sweetner(but the name of it was not mentioned in the above list). we were worried like anything. he checked up the internet and found that its not much problem. so guys check that.
