Normal Delivery:Good doctor in Hyderabad

Name: Anu Hello,
I' m 4th month pregnant and stay near Miyapur. I' m looking for a good doctor who prefers normal delivery. I' m scared of C-section. Can anyone pls advice me good doctors with good experience in and around Miyapur/ Kukatpally in Hyderabad? Also, am looking for a hospital with good equipment & facilities which helps during my pregnancy.

j.j.hospital

reception staff is not good in j.j hospital,They are not worried about patients situation.when i was 5months pregnant, i suffered with high fever and back pain .That' s why i went to j.j.hospital,they said wait ,wait,wait,.i waited for 4 hours.but they said wait for some time as the doc went for lunch.adding to agony a TV journalist just walked in and got her consultation done in 5 min.i discontinued going there as am not sure is it staff problem or doctors.don' t go to j.j hospital

Dont Ever go to JJ hospital

Wastage of time,effort in JJ Hospital for Pregnants especially !!!

Only the First time the Pregnancy patients would be sent to doctor for consultation within few mins.

Later for report checking/Scan reports checkings to be shown to Dr, we have to wait for minimum of 4-5 Hrs for just 5mns reports checking !

And moreover..there is no order of which the patients who came for report checking would be sent to Doctor...for example our number was 22 and numbers after us i.e 26,28 were sent in to meet doctor before us !!!

Recommendations are highly considered here .

Hence from bottom of my heart I would never suggest/recommend my friends/anybody in hyderabad to choose this hospital for pregnants.

fernandez vs JJ jospital

After reading all the posts I zeroed in on Fernandez hospital. b ut they are so busy tht they run like a kirana shop, they treat the patients like school kids. I was threatened that i might become over weight. They plan up ahead if they want to make a c section and convince u or threaten u.
I had slight high sugar level that got normal, but dr. kasthuri planned a c section some 10 weeks ahead. she was not listening to anything. I switched to JJ hospital and expressed my concerns in 9 th mnth and I deleivered normally without epidural or episitomy. I had great breast feeding support. Dr. jayanti is a friendly gyn. I attended lamaze classes too.

Hello Everyone,

My Friend is a Doctor at PSIMS Medical College Gannavaram. They have done a survey on good hospitals for deliveries in Hyderabad.
They found Rainbow Hospital, Fernandez Hospital, Mathrika Nursing Home and Swapna Nursing home are the Best.

They also found that Fernandez Hospital has 98% of Normal Deliveries. However, they found that the cost of Normal Delivery in Fernandez Hospital is twice the cost of Caesarean section operations in Normal Hospitals. Normally only people covered with Insurance will go to Fernandez Hospital. But Insurance is covered only during delivery timing. But Pre and Post Delivery consultation charges need to be kept from patients pockets which are very High compared to all the Hospitals in Hyderabad.

JJ Hospital

Dear Friends,
Dont ever admit anybody in this hospital.
If you have insurance then you will have to loose all your insured ammount no matter what treatment you get.
They claim 40 to 50% more from insured persons than those who are paying by cash.
Rooms are very small and worst ventilation.

I would suggest a hospital in which the Gynaecologist resides so that they would be available for emergency care.Such a place would ensure a higher number of normal deliveries
If i am not wrong Dr.Savitha Devi, Dr.Kalpana reside within the same premisis.

Hey, i had many bad reviews abt appollo for being very commercial, unnecessary test and C-sections. Plz try to search for a hospital which has good no of normal deliveries taking place.

DO visit Fernandis Hospital in hyd. Nopt sure of address but u google nd search it. Most of my frens got normal delivery from this hospital.

Harsha hospitals

You can go to Harsha nursing home ,in Vivekanadna nagar colony, near to kukatpally. Dr.Neetha she is a very good doctor and she does normal delivery and won' t prefer c-sections.
The hospital is near to new era school

Is Swapna Nurshing home which is in Begumpet good ?? Do the doctors there prefer normal delivery ? Or they prefer C-section ? My due date is Sep 13th. Now I am in 8th month. They didn´ t tell me whether its a biy or Girl though I am going through ultrasound every month. Is it possible to know before delivery? Pl. reply quickly.
