I had my baby's ear pierced at Claire's. It been 8 weeks since then and when I tried to put the ear ring( a very small stud) that we got from India, it is seems too tight to go in. It even bleeds. Her ear looks fine. There is no infection or anything. What should I do? Will I have to get her ear peirced again in India? She is just 4 months.

Thanks,
Sarangi

Hi Sarangi!
This pragathi from hyderabad india. Ihave read your question and understand the problem. Firstly i think she is too young for that and i know as a monther of a grild child you would like to see her with ear studs bangles etc., to make her look cute and enjoy it as even i am a mother a girl of 10 months well anyways coming to the point since you have already got her ears pierced did you try to put in the stud by applying some baby cream to the stud steam as well as the ear so that it will be easy. You can also try to put a dry neem twig very fnely sharped a small piece probably that would be more safer thing to do as it will act as anitseptic by nature. If it doesn't work out you can wait for some time and get gunshot done need not come to india for that as you can get it done over there only though as you will have so many options nowadays with golden gunshot or a wite stone studded gunshot etc.,

wishing you and your daughter best of luck and best wishes.

Bye.

you must be trying to put an earing with comparatively thicker wire. The ears must be pierced with very fine earings hence it will be difficult to change it right now. You will probably have to wait for some more time till the wound heals and then try with very thin earings with thin wire.

hey, I think your daughter's ear pierce might be closed. 8 weeks is a such a loong time. You should have bought the earrings from Claire's only and have them put it on for you while piercing. My daughter also got hers at 4 months and we put the earrings at the same time there and it was all fine. You might want to get it done again in India.
