Yes, it is very much possible to have a normal delivery after Caeserean Section. I have two children my first was C-section, and the second one was a normal delivery.

There is a risk of the uterus rupturing during labor, but if that does happen, C-section can always be done at that time. You have to be confident of your own body, and you must have a good obstetrician who is willing to give normal labor a chance. Do discuss this with your obstetrician, and most times if you insist, they will agree to give natural childbirth a chance.

I can tell you one thing - the recovery after a normal delivery is so remarkable, it is well worth the the effort. I was driving on the 4th day after my second son was born, and ran a marathon 6 months post-delivery.

As far as exercises are concerned, you must learn and do your birth fitness exercises regularly. Most of these exercises concentrate on your pelvic area, and aid in the correct positioning of baby before labor, and in labor help the baby to descend down the birth canal faster, which is good news for both mom and baby. These exercises are taught in good antenatal classes. Please ensure that your antenatal class is a longer class of 6-8 week duration. This enables you to learn all the exercises and positions better, than a weekend class, which will only provide you with basic information and not much more.
