Name: aamir hello preethi, as i am new to this site, but i love the way u all people discus to any issue and get to one point. Well i love to have really short hair cut some thing like crew cut or buzz cut but i am feeling very shy to go for it as i am a working guy in an multinational company, since last one month i had 2 times hair cut to go for shorter but still i want to go for more shorter pls help me?

Do you get this during summer or always ? I am surprised that your wife likes the cut and encourages you to do so. Do you go to the same barber for so many years and handclippers are used only by shops nowadays...

buzz cut

Hi Sekar! Yesterday i have visited the saloon to cut my hair shorter then ever, since it was shorter before and just said the barber for a shortest hair cut thru the machine he didn' t ask me to what size he just took the electric clipper without any guard on it, for a while i was scared before saying any thing to him he started the clipper from my sides oh my god seems totally bald i was confused to be happy or sad? then i controlled my emotions by saying that there will be regrowth of hair within a month and also to ur suggestion to go a head without any guard, i wanna tell u one thing i am planning to get married next month i don' t know hw much will be the growth of my hair? now i have totally like a shave head but still i am enjoying the look even in my office no body objected or commented to this style just said head shave looks good i was on 9th cloud when i heard this. Now i am thinking to be in this style for ever.Whats ur opinion.

I hope your fiancee is ok with your style or you consulted her before doing this. Sounds strange on your timing of the cut (having marriage next month) - is it for real ?, anyway, it all depends on how your immediate family members and your fiancee reacts.

Hi,

You should overcome your fear of what people would say after the cut, then only you can get that cut. A way to avoid is to go to roadside barbershop instead of a lavish parlour. If you tell the barber to cut it short at sides and back, he will understand and start using machine at the sides and back. Only if you want the change, you can get it.

I don´ t have answers to some of your questions like whether this cut will look good on you or not, etc. with what I know, guard of 2 will not make your skin visible at the sides or at the back that much. only with no guard it will reduce to the scalp at the sides and back.you got it using machine or hand one ? whether you like this way or using no guard is something that you should try - may be there are websites that will allow you to post your picture and see you in different hairstyles ( I am not aware of those links). try in those sites. hope people liked your style, what were the reactions ?

Hi Sekar! Thanks for your reply and also encouraging me to go a head,and i am really feeling now to go for it bur before going to that i wanna ask u some thing,what size of the hair will be left over the sides, back and top after a correct and professional crew cut? how can i judge whether this style will look good on me or not? well i wanna share with u some thing, yesterday i visited a barber shop for beard shaving. When i entered the shop he asked me what can i do? I said him i wanna shave he asked me head shave i said no no... i said beard shave.When he asked me for head shave i was really very happy from inside and just a step away for that. Then he started shaving my beard I asked him that my hairs are falling i want to prevent it for the hair loss and my hair is also very thin he said to go for head shave for every 10 to 15 days gap till 3 months. I don´ t know whether this suggestion was right or not, i thought over it but could not decide.After finishing the shave i asked him for hair cut i said him to use clippers with guard number 2, he asked me shall i use the same guard through out the head i said no no... just sides and back then took the clipper attached the guard and starter to cut from my right side,immediately after the first stroke my skin visible clearly and i was feeling very very nice and was enjoying every stroke of the clipper now I have around 1/2 inch of hairs at my sides and back and around 2+ inch on my top.So pls let me know still how much i have to reduce my hairs from sides, back and top to get a professional crew cut style and how this will be suitable on my face...
