Hi Webbrowser,

We celebrated our daughter's 1st bday by inviting a pink care bare. I thought of ELMO but then I saw the character in the website (From the place that we were inviting) and decided that kids will be scared of the big red ELMO with big eyes. I am not saying that doesn't pick ELMO but make sure the character is appealing. The place you are inviting the character from might have not that scary ELMOs. The next option for us was soft pinky bear. Kids had fun with this character; she played games with them (catching ball, musical chairs etc). My kid was not able to participate in the games but I am sure she enjoyed the music and also watching the older kids play. Now and then she would go to the character and poke her in the eyes. My suggestion to you will be - to check the pictures of the character from the place where are inviting them and see if the kids can take that. I was little bit hesitant to choose care bare because kids would know ELMO better than CARE BARE. But to my surprise they were soo happy to see CARE BARE.

One friend of mine told me that they invited magicians to their party but she said that the character is better. Because kids need to be older to understand the tricks magicians does. This was my experience, hope it will help you. Have fun and enjoy the party.

HAPPY B'DAY to the little one

Take care
Swapna.

My advise to you is that the most important person you should be concerned about is your little one and to make her as comfortable as she would be. Magicians as well as characters could be overwhelming for her. Elder kids and elders will enjoy themselves anyways but if your little one is scared then you might have a hard time handling the rest of the party. Just my opinion. I have a little one and have been thinking of a party myself. Have been reading about it and gathered this information. So enjoy! Have a happy birthday.
