It is really nice to see a video on ustad bismillah khan. He was a gem. after him who knows who will take up the opportunity of playing the shehenai. It is a loss to the world of music. I am a great fan of his. I also like sufi music. Abeda parveen too is my favourite. When i look at Indian Claasical music i feel it is so very different fromt eh rest of the world. Indian classical music is like a sacred prayer for those who play practice and listen to it. Be it the sitar, veena, tabla, shehenai or flute. The synegised effect of all of these is simply wonderful. As a child i always wanted to learn to play the sitar, but never got an opportunity. Now i think i dnt care, whether i make a career out of it or not but i want to learn to play the sitar just fo the love of it. It is amazing. I love india and i love its music and of course its beautiful people.
