I have been having acne problems from about 6 months now and I have been researching on the Internet and have site have been saying that Proactiv it meant to be good. I think it’s a big thing in the states but not here in the U.K. So I was going to give it a try and see the results. I would like to hear from someone who has maybe tried it and if it worked or failed for them.

shreeya replied. Proactive works best when you get the whole set of the products and use them regiously. meli replied. a lot of people have had good results but unfornately it didn't work for me. It worked for like three months or so but i think it may have made my acne worst cause when i started to use proactive i only had about 6 pimples on one cheek and by the time i stopped using the product i had acne on both cheeks. I've heard many good comments about the mary kay acne on the spot solution. I just went to the doctor and ordered some antibiotics. The antibiotics are working like a charm. Once i finish my antibiotics i might try mary kay. Rebecca replied. ok well I also ordered proactive, and I didn't find really a difference with that and my old cleanser. I use Mary Kay skin cleanser for oily skin, and it did the same for me. I still have small bumps on my forehead that I can't seem to get rid of. Renee replied. My friend gave me Proactiv recently and the results were really good for me. My pimples weren't as prominent anymore. But then I started to wonder if all the other acne medications were the same. The single ingredient for acne used in these products is benzoyl peroxide. Proactive has 2.5%. When my friend gave me the Proactive I said, \";They all have Benzoyl Peroxide how is this different? She said, \";Proactive is really good, much better than the rest. You only need a small layer..\"; So I went home, tried it and like I said before, it works well.

My opinion is that they are all acne medications are the same as long as you use as directed. Some have different percentages of benzoyl peroxide in them but they all basically do the same job. Reduce existing acne pimples, penetrates the pore to control acne and helps prevent new acne from forming.
