On Easter we have egg hunt in which a trail of chocolate eggs leading from our rooms to the lounge room where there will be bigger Easter eggs and other chocolates waiting for us and usually we get to go on a shopping spree as a gift are hidden which kids have to find to get surprises. We love to eat Easter eggs. on Saturday, we go to church and at midnight and get the holy light and then walk home and make a cross with it on the front door. On Easter sunday families get together and roast lamb and eat......the kids recieve presents from their godparents

Easter Sunday has a lot of significance for Christians. It celebrates the raising of Jesus Christ from the dead, three days after being crucified on the cross.Jesus was crucified on the Friday before Easter, thus Good Friday is a sad day.Easter is a joyous celebration of the eternal life bought through the sacrifice on the cross. It signifies the end of Lent.
