i was looking at yahoo answers, a message board like this and someone said :

many people are born with lighter hair, eyes, and skin than they will end up with. when you're born you're body's so busy laying down new bone and muscle that things like pigment arent on the top of the list but as you frow and stabalize and become healthier, your true colors come in.

I can't really judge on this statement you have provided me - I only hope that is not the case!

However, just thought I'd point out, my cousins were born very fair like me and they have managed to conserve that colour till their late teens. I am almost certain they don't apply anything herbal/chemical product to light their skin. And yet.. their skin hasn't got any darker!

Soo.. in answer to your question.. I don't believe this is our true colour!
