sweety, your concerns are normal. any baby below 3 months are very delicate and are affected by all foods that mother eat! even tiniest thing is just enough to disturb their normal schedule or behaviour.
dosa is gassy if you put more urad dal ! i give my baby the dosa of this recipe..she is 1 year and even though she is sensitive to gassy foods, this recipe has worked pretty well for her.
1rice(brand name sona masuri):1/4urad dal:1/8th medium poha (degdi poha).. wash all nicely, soak until 12 hours, more you soak, seed becomes lighter and easier to grind..making light dosa and easy to digest too...as here you are fermenting themixture and not cookin the mixture, until the dosa comesout...
after 12 hours, grind them, and let it ferment.. addsome buttermilk instead of water (if water is required)...and salt if you are putting it.
methi(fenugreek) helps ease digestion, and also boost milk production.also nullifies the gassy effect of urad dal.for any lentils try add some methi seeds when you boil dal in cooker..this way they wont come in mouth with bitter taste plus their effect eases digestion of lentils.
njoy all foods, with some LITTLE/DASH anti gas foods like garlic, fenugreek, ajma or oregano in there.
about massage,,massage with light finger pressure...check my post about massage..
at first all babies cry as its new to them..but if you think he is crying more,,well understand that your baby just dont like it...some babies do that..my baby was summer baby, she never liked massage, until summer,,after winter started, even though she was almost 6months, i kept trying every now and then, and she started liking it..after all its good for blood circulation, eliminates gas and also stimulates their senses,,how could i just stop it,,
so keep tryin ! talk to your baby, throw her smiles,,give her lots of touch,,hugs, kisses,,sing something to him,,ne and try to start massage...
about the noise,if its sucking noise, then its clear that he is sucking air with your milk ! which means, he is not properly latched..make a visit to your lactation consultant, and let her decide how actually it sounds,,she will be able to tell you right away.
good luck
takecare.
