hi all, I have been reading up this message board regularly ..and would like to share my problem of tailbone swelling ,there is a lot of pain when i sit and even when i lie down straight ,whenever the bone is pressed it starts paining ...is anyone of u going through the same ..please advice as i dont want to take any painkillers..I hve tried hot water bottle compress which gives temporary relief...

Yup Harshita....I have a perreniel ache in the lower back area or the tail bone as you put it....my mom said that a warm bag helps a lot, but havent tried it...guess I haave to try it sometime....but would advise you to steer clear of pain killers....
