i am in my 20th week now. yesterday i did ultrasound n doctor said all is okay except for placenta which is little bit down. but they have said that they will monitor it after a month. if it doesnt move up then the alternative is C-section delivery n no other worries. please throw some light on this.thanks.fairy

you have time and there is possibility that your in-complete previa will improve and that placenta will be upward in about less than 10 weeks.

thanks archie and B. am relieved by your answers. eventhough one reads / knows about the issue, when it actually happens to u, one tends to get worried. am in abu dhabi and still working. my office is just 5 mins drive by taxi. since am not feeling pain etc. i intend working until the last month. unlike india, roads are not bumpy here n travelling is smooth here. bye n thanks for ur support. fairy

Low Lying Placenta

Hi i think sum1 else asked this question on previous posts before, im no expert but what i have read is its common to have a low lying placenta at this stage and as ur uterus grows upwards it should take the placenta up, thus by time of ur delivery ur placenta will be higher not covering the cervix, however if it hasnt moved up closer to birth then obviously u have to have a c-section, just relax and rest when u can, fingers crossed by the time u have ur next scan it should be moving up.
