i am facing crake nipple problem . i have tried no. of ointment and nipple shield but the problem is incresing day by day .pl suggest quick remedies.thanks in advance. gayathriram replied. i faced the same problem ven i was breatfeeding,apply coconut oil before bath and wash off with besan. ck replied. May be ur baby is not latching properly with mouth wide open. Don' t let the baby feed with only nipple in the mouth. Put ur finger in baby' s mouth to release ur breast while feeding, do not pull n hurt urself. Do not give the baby bottle for 1 month until bf is established, instead feed with spoon.

Solution is : Rub breastmilk on nipples n let it air dry, don' t use soap for breasts while bathing. Pump milk n feed the baby until u get some relief. Apply little lansinoh cream after feeding. Call ur gynec/hospital breastfeeding helpline if nothing helps.
