Shannu, my doc seeing my gtt results told that I don't fall in the diabetic range and I'm relieved to hear it..But she told me to keep a watch on my diet..Reg. brown rice(Sorry to brag abt it often! ) eating a little seems to fill in my stomach..why dont you try yar? its ok like normal rice excepting for taste..but it doesnt matter much if eaten with other dishes...I read abt. u'r earlier msg reg. dal..I'm sure its proteins and u can take it..also for chappathi why dont u make it with raddish(grate raddish, add salt , after a while add the atta and make chappatis)I'm sure this way its more healthy and also it will fill the stomach...Like Usha had written earlier, I too read that methi is good...if that's true then surely methi leaves are good..if you need a good recipe for it do write in your mail id..I'll mail you a good recipe I make all time(dont want this msg board turning into a recipe board ;-) !!! )Reg. fruits you've written earlier, I donno abt. it as I dont eat much fruits excepting a few :((! But one of my friends who a diabetic pre preg and who has 2 kids told me to take 1 fruit in the morn...or better eat cucumber with every meal.. cucumber is supposed to be v gud itseems..

Am really glad to know that U R not suffering from GD....Thats really a relief and its a real good news..... So what else is happening with U.... All fine here with me and the baby.... Am also in the 31st week now.... 9 more weeks to go..... :-))
Thnx for the info reg the food stuff.... The Prob is that I am a very lousy cook..... Not that good at cooking..... So this GD has made it a lot worse...... I will try the recipe of making chappathi with Raddish.... About the Methi recipe.... Do mail it to me at smoyin1@yahoo.co.in...... Abt the brown rice.... I am very much fond of it...... But I have completely stopped the Intake of rice now..... Whenever I have a small cup...the sugar level shoots up... I am really having a hard time without getting to eat rice.....:-(
Then what else...hmmmm I am trying to eat fruits now..... Once in the afternoon is doing good to me..... I do eat cucumber also with each meal... Eating chappathi causes the Body temp to rise....So...Cucumber and Yogurt really helps to make it cool.... So thats the news at this end.... Do mail me in detail abt Urself.... Yes I wud send you the recipe to u'r mail id asap...Well everything is going fine on my side ...Nowadays having the public bone pain which Ritu had mentioned few days back...sort of getting painless contractions too ....hmm....Always in some tension or the other....Still another 59 days to go...Seems like I've been preggo my whole life...haha!
