Hi friends,

I am new to this group. I am currently on my 19th week. I am expecting on April 15th.
I am concerned abt my weight gain. I have gained only abt 1 kg. Am i OK ?. During initial 3 mths i lost something like 3 kgs due to nausea. I have still got to do my Ultrasound. Have an app on 11th Dec (22nd Week). I don't feel my stomach is growing much ..
Can someone tell me your comments/inputs ...

Hi kalpana,
congrats for ur pregnency. welcome to the group. When is ur due date? I am on my 20th week. my due date is on 7th of april.
About the weight gain- don't woory. normally we will be gaining 10 kgs during pregnency. But in first trimester you will be loosing weight if u hv nausea. some ladies gain weight in last trimester. so no need to worry about it unless ur baby's growth is normal.
like u i also doesen't put much weight. i gained only 2 kgs during pregnency. but my baby's growth is normal .so i think it s normal.

During first trimester, you usually dont gain any weight or might loose weight due to nausea. During second trimester, you will slowly start to gain weight. Dont worry. you will start to gain more weight during these weeks. are u feeling better in 2nd trim? if not ask your doctor about it.
