My DD is now 15 month, she started to talk when she was about 12-13 month old. She used to call me Mummy ,her father Papa and some other words also she used to babble. But for last one month she has totally stopped saying Mom or Papa. Only thing is she blabers somethings. I am not sure if this is normal. If anyone is facing this problem plz reply back :(

Hi Sonu,
I think you should respond to her by talking more and making her talk more..everyday keep talking to her though she doesnt say anything in return, she wld be keenly listening and wld try to talk the same way..Parents should talk to the kids as much as poosible to stimulate them...i'm a mother od 14 months old boy..I was really surprised to see him say some words which we didnt teach him..he has been keenly watching and learning..so talk to her more..soon she'll start talking like before..are you both working..who's there with ur kid at home..

Hi Sonu,

My daughter is 18 month old, we had the same situation. She was saying some words and then she stopped suddenly, babbled for another 2/3 months. Now again she is trying to say Mummy, Daddy, Bye, Hi, What, Shut up ( I don't know where she got that from). But this time she is more clear so I think its with every kid. I don't think you need to be worried.

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
