Hi

I am concerned about dark skin. I would like to have a lighter complexion and I don't know how I am supposed to go about doing that. Can someone please give me some information on how to change my dark complexion into lighter complexion. Your help will be greatly appreciated.

Renu,
What seems to work lately for me is pearl powder. You can mix it in equal amounts with milk, kaolin powder, and rice flour. I purchased it over the net. I will warn you; it is expensive. It cost me $35 just for one oz. Luck to u.

Hello Renu,

I will first ask you what is your complexion?

I used a skin lightener here from the US. It has 3% hydroquinine...it is supposed to give results in 3 weeks, but that does not mean you will be more fair in that time, it just means you will begin to see results.

Bleaching our skin can be very dangerous, it can leave damage tht is unrepairable.

I used it to even out my complexion, I had light areas and darker areas and of course, I was feeling insecure about it.

Vantex is the name of the cream.

Hi Renu,
I am feeling sorry for you that you are unhappy with your skin tone.

I want to share with you about myself...

I was born with very fair skin. As I got older, I began "browning". I felt insecure, thought I couldn't marry a decent boy or that if I got darker than I was, I would have problems marrying. I am sort of ashamed to admit it, but that is what I was afraid of.

All I could do is use fairness cream to even out my complexion. It worked. I have a better complexion now that I have in a long while. I have to be careful to avoid the sun on my face, I cover my skin somewhat during the times of day that the sun is most harsh.

I am married now, my husband is very fair and he pursued me and was most attracted to my darker skin than his. He is a good man. He is not caught up in the color thing...

Please use the fairness cream...but use caution. Your skin may be needing a little something to "brighten" it, but just remember to take care.

I live in the US. There are a lot of good products out there.

My other mention is...the benefits of brown skin is usually those with brown skin age a lot slower that otherwise.
