and only sits with his hands propped. Otherwise he is a very happy, social baby always smiling and babbling a lot. I am really concerned about his gross motor skills. One more thing, he is also on the smaller side and weighs 14.10 pounds and is 27 inches tall.
Thanks,

Sharmily

dear sharmily,
I am a mother of 10 months old too. my son did not start crawling until 91/2. He was just sitting unsupported by himself when he turn 8 months. so I think don't worry about your 8 months old son not crawling around specailly he is happy doing other stuff.

Hi,
Do not worry if he is not crawling yet. My daughter didn't crawl until she was 10 months old, and now she is walking at the age of 13 months. Some babies don't crawl at all and they start walking.

Good Luck

hello jayashree
dont get afraid and dont loose hopes, your son is absolutely fine, and give him the proper tuition and avoid more playing periods of his, and you should teach him at home when you will get free time.... - praglabh [View Message]
