Is dieting right during pregnancy? What kind of food should women consume to keep their weight under control and also help the child nourish?

Healthy low fat food is ideal for pregnant women. Foods that are natural are the healthiest as they preserve all the nutrients and nourish the baby and the mother. you should have green leafy vegetables, fresh fruits and juices, low fat dairy products and dry fruits and nuts.

Hi aruna,
You should never diet. It is not good for you or your baby. Pregnancy is the time to indulge in healthy food habits. If you do not want to put on much weight then you should have a healthy diet and avoid junk foods at any cost. Be active and you will not be plagued by weight issues.

It is silly to think of dieting during this time. Dieting can lead to severe complications or deficiencies. Instead to keep weight under ideal, have fresh fruits, salads and vegetables. Avoid outside food and also too much oily and spicy food. If you follow a healthy diet pattern, then you will not have excess eight gain. Also try to include some exercises
