Hi Everyone,
I am new here in this board.
I am Subhasree, currently living in London, UK, with my husband Harish. I am from Orissa, India and my DH (Dear Husband)is from Kerala.
We are expecting our first baby on 19th Feb 2003 (As per ultra sound scan date-- Doctor's given EDD was 23rd Feb).

We are extremely happy about having this baby. We wanted to have a baby and tried religiously for few months. Those few months of TTC (Trying to conceive), was very difficult for me seeing AF (aunt flow -- period) right on time everymonth. And finally on my this year's b'day (20th June), i got a 'BIG FAT POSITIVE' in my Home Pregnancy Test. It was one of the best days in our life. We are so thankful to God having blessed us with this greatest gift.

Well, till now my pregnancy is going on fine.
We both work here in UK as software consultants and i am still going to work fulltime (but thankfully i have a flexible working time an denvironment and have a excellent team).My DH has been the GREATEST !!! He is been so supportive and caring and so helpful. First trimster was not so pleasant for me. Apart from teh morning (well all day) sickness, i was so damn tired and suffering from back ache, body ache etc. SInce then he had taken more than half of teh house work from me (including the most dreadful dish wsahing!!!)
Second trimester was quite good. And now, i am suffering from the back ache (even butt ache).Getting uncomfortable in sleeping in the night.

Thankfully my parents are coming here next week and will be with us for about 4 months. Having Mom around this time will be great and i am so happy for this.

I am trying to eat balanced and good food. We both dont smoke or drink alcohol. I am taking my pre nat vtamines from teh first day....but still my tummy is not as big its hould be. On my 30 week check up, my midwife measured my fundal height and it was 28 cm (instaed of the normal 30 cm, as it should be). So she doubted that may be baby is bit small!!!(well that just increased my worries of having teh smaller tummy). well, i am nayway not of big figure..i am about 5'2\";.
Anyway, i am having another scan on 2nd Jan to check on bay's size. I just hope everything is fine with baby.
We dont know the sex of our baby. Here in UK, the NHS hospitals dont disclose teh sex (some hospitals do tell sometimes). But my hospital dont tell me...(i wanted to know).

We havent yet decided on any name. we are really finding it hard to decide on the boy's name and i am still searching sincerely. HOpe, we will be able to decided on the names in teh next 2 months.

ok..i guess..i have written enough about me.

I just want to tell that i am glad to find this site with Indian mom-to-bes. I am a member of another PG site (Idreamofbaby com) and i really love my friends there.
I hope to know you all soon and hope to have a nice time ith you all during the next two months of pregnancy as well as after teh delivery.

Well, am now living in Kuwait and my edd is feb 24 or 25'th..keeps changing during every scan...I hope I dont go to a march date...I've too decided not to find the sex of the baby though found it for my 1'st child. Twice I tried to find out and twice due to diff. reasons I was not able to...I guess the baby wanted its privacy !!!
reg. health probs. everything is in the normal way (backaches and other normal stuff)

Abt myself...Am from NJ USA....Rt now stayin with my Hubby...... Am in my 3oth week now.... Things R going on fine except for slight Probs with my Sugar level...going up at times..... Then I do have the usual aches and pains...Especially the back ache and also my legs ache very badly..... Its the weight I am carrying I suppose..... :-)) My due date is Feb 26th...eagerly waiting for the same....Just as all of U there...... Hoping and Praying that we have the results really soon.... this is smitha writing in...its really wonderful to see a longgggg msg posted...I truly appreciate ur effort and interest

We indeed have been having a really interactive due date club out there....With each one of us coming out with our joys and worries..and lotsss of us consoling each other at times that seem not so good...

Anyways...I am put up at Bangalore currently...My DH (:)) I like that usage of urs...lol is currently at Chicago on an assignment and shud b back by the end of january...I am currently on to the 32nd week...and my due date as per U/S happens to b 18th of Feb..and as per my LMP happens to b 21st...looks pretty close to urs rite...u never know we cud have our babies on the same day...:)

Even we havent found out the sex of our little one...let the suspense go on...rite...

Healthwise even i am doing ok..had a scan last week..and seemed fine...Hope everthing goes on well..and we'll soon have our bundle of joy in our arms...
