i think u should remain on the safer side.but i guess u can use it as well because in pakistan and india,before marriage,both the bride and the bridegroom are rubbed with a paste of haldi.
if u give me ur skin type,i may suggest some lightening tips.

1 more thing..

sat,u can leave the multani mitti pack and use this instead if u wish:
besan+haldi+sandalwood powder+orange peel powder+oats powder+rose water+lemon juice on ur face.wash it off after it dries.this is home made ubtan for oily skin.
if u want,u can use the multani mitti pack instead..no harm..choose according to ur convenience.

hi!

hi sat,
first of all,let me congratulate u for the upcoming event.may u have a blessed and satisfactory married life.
as for ur skin,im glad u replied soon.try the following mask for ur skin.it will take out the excess oiliness and also make it fairer:multani mitti(fuller's earth)+tomato pulp+rose water.apply it till it dries and then wash it off.daily,scrub ur face with yoghurt+oats powder+almond powder.once a week,use lemon juice+sugar scrub.scrub it till the granules melt and then wash it off and apply yoghurt to ur face.
modify ur diet.no fizzy drinks,chocolates,fatty,sugary,oily,fried foods for u.do the following daily:
1)on waking up in the morning,take the juice of half a lemon,add it to warm water and a tablespoon of honey.drink this.

2)soak methi(fenugreek)in water overnight.on waking up,drink the water and eat the seeds.

3)eat lots of resh fruits and veggies.eat the following daily or drink their juice:
mint juice(very effective)
lemon juice
tomato
beetroot(chikandar)
apple
carrot
orange
sanghara

4)8 to 10 glasses of water is a MUST!

5)eat lots of honey and yoghurt.

6)exercise daily for 20 minutes.it will bring an exceptional glow to ur skin.its great to take a bath after exercise and also wash ur face.

7)drinking warm milk with a few strands of saffron daily is believed to make ur skin fair.however,there is no scientific prof for this but it has been followed as a tradition for many years.
always remember that u cannot change ur natural colour.if ur naturally fair,then by effort and patience,u will definitely achieve ur natural complexion.i hope all this helps u a lot.it will take time like a month or two..so be patient.
regarding roop amrit,i dont think u should be using it.suppose the ingredients dont suit ur skin..then?not everything suits every type of skin.and we can never guarantee its authenticity.suppose they have added chemicals to accelerate the process whose side effects will be visible after a year or so.these people are very clever a they have kept 15 days money back guarantee.within 15 days,the chemicals will work their magic and after that,u will start seeing the adverse reactions.so,its better to be safe and use something whose contents u know.
