I had my 25 week scan and GTT everything OK. My Doc however thinks that I will have preterm delivery as I am hypertensive pre-pregnancy itself, now my B.P is in control with medication but during third semister they come to pre-pregnancy level and may rise (2nd trimester it actually falls a bit), plus am also slighly overweight. so I had to take a steroid injection Betamethasone for the maturation of the baby' s lung in case of preterm delivery. Was very worried abt taking it but finally you have to trust the Doc and leave the rest to GOD so I hope everything works out fine with no side effects.

Now I have started Baby shopping, I was going to do it in 8th month but now might as well start preparing for the same.
All the best foreveryone, do walk a bit and reduce salt content if your B.P was ever high or on the borderline as we are now in 3rd semester so none of you get any B.P problem, better to preemt it than take measures afterwards. pk replied. hi,

Wanted to ask you how much does the BP level rise during the 3rd trimester. My BP levels have been on the lower end right from beginning and now at 26 weeks, its at its lowest.
Even I have read it rises during the last trimester, just wanted to know how much does it rise to.
Mine is currently at 99/64.
Are there chances that it would rise so much to reach a high BP level
