How are you all doing? Must be having your glucose test scheduled or waitng for the reports.
Have you started baby shopping?? There are so many cute little things for the little ones, its so hard to resist. I am finding it so very difficult to narrow down my shopping list.
How about names? Started searching??
Dreamymommy & Mamta, how are ur child birth/ parenting classes going on?? Aparna, CK, Kalpana hope you are getting all the support to manage the pregnancy & to be soon big bro/sis. Ck must be busy with Birthday arrangements too.

Nice to hear from you.I havent been lucky with my Glucose test . I failed my 1 hr test (which came as a shock to me) so just had my 3 hr test today. I dont like sweets much but have been liberal in consuming rice and dosa' s in early pregnancy. But i have totally switched to whole wheat now. My doctor says most women pass the 3 hr test, so keeping fingers crossed.

About the childbirth classes , i haven' t started yet. How about you , are you taking them.

i am going to do most of my shopping during thanksgiving weekend, so i can shop at a stretch.

I am doing good. I just came from my doc office (28th week checkup). Also, had my glucose test. Test results will be coming tomorrow. I hope everything is fine as it was during my first pregnancy.
Also, I gained 4.5lbs (2kgs) this month. Doc was happy abt it. My BP is also in normal range. But I have been having regular back pain this month. When I spoke to my doc, he asked me to try heat pad or lumbar support specially made for pregnancy. Also, he said not to lay down on my back even though it gives relief.
Another thing is: my doc asked me to make another apt after 2weeks. I think it varies from doc to doc. In previous pregnancy, I went for 4weeks apt until 32 week and then I went for 2weeks apt until 36th and last month was weekly.

About walking, I am not keeping time
but as I am taking care of house hold work, cooking, taking care of my son: I think I am covering necessary walk.
That should be good enough.

So, thats all from my end. Will update you guys once I get my glucose results (tomorrow). My baby is busy and keeping me busy with her kicks and movements. Which is actually good. Can' t wait to see her.
