dearest jo prabhu,once u replied to my msg advising to go for glycolic peels,i m going for it,can u advice me something which i need to take care of before and after th peeling..

Thanks for your question. Just before the application of a glycolic peel you need to make sure that your skin is not oily. So wash your face with a liquid clear cleanser (not a soap bar) and apply the glycolic peel as instructed on the bottle. The product comes with a prep-solution that you apply before the peel which makes your skin non-oily. Then apply the glycolic solution only at night. You will feel a burning sensation, which is an indication that the product is working. The sensation will go away after 3-5 minutes. If it bothers you, take a small hand held fan or fan your face to cool it down.

Leave the solution on overnight. In the morning wash your face as usual. Do not apply moisturizers because you need to keep your skin dry during the usage of this product. Apply only non-oily sunblock lotion on your face and neck. Never go out in the sun without it.

You can apply this once a week. Your facial skin will slowly dry out in a powdery fashion and you will soon get a new glowing lighter skin.

You will need to do this at least once every 2-3 months with a 10% lotion strength.
