i have fungal infection since past 10 years .m 24 yrs old and fed up with it.i have consulted aayurvedic,homeopathic counsultation from batra clinic and then allopathic also.it kept on falling and giving me itching and my hair is so thin and i am disheartened like anything.is there anyone who can tell me that i can ever get my hair back the way it used to be before,i had such a beautiful thick hair and now it is so thin i cant say .it seem as after few months i would be bald srajarajan replied. hai
i too suffering from the same problem. tried every over the counter medicines.i find nizral 2% some what effective. but only temporary relief. the best thing is to see a well known skin expert. definitely it can be controlled. problem is, medicine which works one person does not work for other. delil replied. And please dont use anything stupid like curd or so called home products, it will aggravate the fungal infection.

Itchy scalp

Aggravation of Pitta dosha, stress, allergic reaction to shampoo, air conditioning, pollution and central heating lead to an itchy and red scalp, with tiny pimples or sores, dull and dry hair.

Remedies
Add 1 teaspoon of camphor to half a cup of coconut oil and store it in gl container.
Dosage: Mage this oil into the scalp before bed.
SMK replied. Did you try herbal remedies? Soapnut, Shikakai & amla powders have worked wonders for me. I use them in this proportion 2:3:1 respectively. I have completely stopped using shampoo. And I keep my comb very clean.
