I had my third baby in jan of this year he was gassy would cry everytime he would eat at first I thought it was the formula oh yea he would pass gass and poop every time he passed gas so my dr told me to change his formula to lactose free. Well that helped with the pooping but he still would wake up from his naps and i would also have a hard time with feedings. So I thought maybe it was the bottles so i ordered the Dr. browns bottles well that didnt work. I started to get very depressed because i didnt want to feed him because i knew that it was going to be torture for him and i. I tried changing his formula to soy well that didnt work he started having diarrhea at first i thought maybe it was because of change of formula so i gave it 4 days by the fourth day he had a rash so bad that he started to bleed from his rectum. So I stopped and put him back on similac lactose free. Well by this time it was time for me to go back to work he was about 8 weeks old. Well my babysitter noticed how difficult it was during feeding time so she started to give about 2 oz of speriment tea ( yerba buena ) 1 hr before feeding and that worked for him ever since then he has been during great during feedings. it helps digest the formula better its easier for him to burp and pass gas. some one had told me about the tea one week before i returned to work but i was to scared to try it. iam so glad my babysitter gave it to him. he and i are so much more relaxed.
