Hi i want your opinion about using products like hydroqinone and pills to lighten your skin. Do they work? Are the results lasting? I came across this website that has all the whitening pills in the world and creams. Fairness Supplements fairness pills, tablets, foods, drinks, diets, and anything else internal used for skin lightening, whitening, brightening. Skin Lightening, Whitening, Brightening Products. DO you think their safe and they work????? What do you guys here use to lighten and whiten your skin?? saniya replied. dear nina,
i totally agree with everything lala has said.
though the chemicals will provide immediate or faster results,they wont be long lasting and definitely display disasterous side effects which will be long lasting.u will suffer more than u will be happy.ur happiness will be just for a few days,while ur suffering may last for months or years!
on the contrary,herbal products,preferably home made and natural do take a while to give results.but the results r satisfactory and long lasting.above all,no side effects!unless of course,u chose the substance which had not been compatible to ur skin type or the one to which u have been allergic.u will have to be patient for a long time but u will also remain satisfied for a longer time.
it sometimes happens that u have used a fairness remedy and have achieved the complexion u desired.but later on,due to sun exposure,obviously,u will get dark.in this case,u have to maintain ur complexion by constantly using that remedy.however,after acheiving te desired results,the frequency of application of the remedies can be reduced, like thrice a week instead of daily.

saniya Lala replied. Nina.. I personally am against fairness creams or any other supplements containing hydroquinone. They most definetely will result in side-effects.. if not identified soon, then nearer the future. I don't trust them.. and if you are interested in purchasing one, then its worthwhile really studying the pros and cons. Ask yourself: Will I be doing the right thing to my skin? What might happen when i stop applying it?

I am strongly in favour of herbal remedies, that Saniya Jee has been kindly recommending. Atleast with these.. there will be no side-effects and the results are long lasting. Another benefit is that you can alter the ingredients so they suit your skin type. Wheras with commercial products.. who knows if they act harsh against your skin? encouraging pimples and rashes etc.

I do hope you make the right decision.. as at the end of the day it depends on you. Don't feel pressurised to purchase these 'Whitening & Brightening' products after seeing your friends getting fairer immediately after applying them. It is all an illusion, and I hope you are strong enough to stand by your motives.

Just remember - natural beauty is what everyone craves for. Not washed out, bleached complexions.
