if asked what we'd rather have..90% would undoubtedly favour lighter skin. don't ask why - its just a thing of the past. eastern countries have always valued fair complexions and believe this is the key to natural beauty. but is it really? afterall, colour seems to be a petty subject to handle.. it shouldnt have to play a part in beauty no matter what.

but unfortunately, society just hasnt come to terms with the real meaning of 'beauty.' those 10% who are proud to have dark skin; i praise you as you have evidntly battled the inferiority of fair skinned girls.

i, myself, have fair skin but i still dont think how it has an advantage over darker skin. so what if the perfect bride-to-be must have fair skin?

everyone is beautiful be you light or dark. your features and hair play a key role; not the colour of your skin.

just remember that people should be judged from th inside rather than the outside. value your skin no matter what colour it is as you will be the one who has to put up with it for the rest of your life.
