Dear All,

thank you very much, specially Padmaja, Jyotsna, Nivea, Mekha ... for all your support thr out my pregnancy. I hope we will continue posting.

My pain started on 21st morning at around 4 am. But I was getting pains very irregular so waited till 7 am, by that time pains were regular at 15-20 mins. Got admitted to hospital at 7:30 am. They checked me and found that I soon be going into labor. This phase was not actually labor but they called it latent phase of labor. Then by afternoon my pain got vanished ... and again started by 5-6 pm. this time they were soming regular at 5 min and later at 8pm started coming at 3 mins. But when Dr checked me at 9 pm I was just 1 cm dialated. I spend entire night in pain every 3 mins but till morning there was no opening so Dr decided to induce labor at 9 am (on 22nd morning) I took epidural at 11 am since I was in pain for entire night and was very tired, epidural reduced my pain but not completely.

Dr checked me at 12 pm and I was 2 cm then at 4 pm I was 3 cm and at 8 pm still 3 cm. My hubby got very worried since I was in pain for long hrs. Dr also suspected baby heartbits at 8 pm on 22nd Oct and then at 8:30 decided on C-sec because of baby heart rate and for more than 12 hrs after induction I wasn't dialated.

I was in operation theatre at 8:45 pm and they gave me anesthetia thr epidural that time. Operation started at 9:10 pm. I was fully awake. 9:28 pm baby was born, she cried, I can hear that very well. Dr showed me big watch to check birth time. I was asking boy or girl but Dr said he will tell me only after he finished baby's first exam. And that time I got vometting. Someone helped me with pan. At 9:35 pm Dr. finished operation and showed me my little girl.

My little angle was having some breathing problem since she was born overdue so Dr said they are transfering her to special care unit and I got shifted to recovery room.

At 11 pm I was out in post natal word and saw my hubby and parents. I kept asking how was baby since she was in special care unit. But hubby said she is very fine and was awake at the time of delivery.

Finally I saw my little angle at 23rd evening. She is really baby tomato. All red.

Breast feeding was very difficult in hospital since she was used to bottle. But in 2 days she and I got used to it.
