Due Date Club April 2007:baby in tranverse position

Dear Archie

This is the first time i am posting my query to you. I am expecting and due date is April 23.
In last sonography (31 week) came to know the baby is in transverse position. I am little worried because I heard that if the baby is in transverse position c section is must.

Please tell me whether this is correct ???

Ohh Dear,

Don' t worry at all. whn I went for ultra sound in my 25th week my baby was also in transverse position. And you know what! When my gyno examined me in my 29th week my baby' s position has already changed to breech.

So no need to worry....The position might even change till the last date of delivery.

Hi Bindu,

You still have time and your baby' s position can change. I am not sure about what can be done to change the position but do talk to your obgyn about it. Stop worrying and we will hope for the best after all it is the baby' s health which is important.
