Hi everyone,
Actually this is my second baby. and im 5 days up my period date. I have done pregnancy test at home its positive:) i want to know wen should i visit my gynac.

Hi Riya,

I am into my 9th week. I visited the gynae/obst (try to go for someone who is into both as it will help you stay comfy during labor) when I was into my 6th week, no need so early though as you will be only prescribed folic acid.

You may have to do your first ultrasound in 7-8th week. But a regular visit (once in 2-3 weeks, or sooner as needed) thereafter is a must :)

Hi,

i am not sure where you are and it might depend on that, but here in US , doctors do a blood test to confirm the pregnancy the same week. But we do not have the first pre-natal appointment till the 8th week.

i would recommend calling your ob-gyn and confirming what they think is the best thing to do...

headaches

What to carry to hospital
Ladies,

I have my color doppler due next week, is it done for you all?

How will the list look like for items that we need to carry to the hospital? If I am asking my husband, he is fully ready with his camera and camcorder, but we do not quite have a clue for the MORE necessary items :).

Now on I have weekly visits to to the doc. Yesterday I attended labour/delivery preparation class which was very useful. I am in Chennai and consulting at E V Kalyani hospital.
