Hi All,

This is my first msg on the board. I just completed 31 weeks. everything went fine. I didn't even have morning sickness routines or diet problems. But today, for the second time, I had some light but fresh spotting. it stopped soon. I can feel the baby's movements like I do normally so I'm a bit relieved but not sure if this is normal or is something wrong. pls advice. If anybody went to spotting after 30 weeks... what did u do?

DEar Shailaja,
It's likely due to some over activity of yours.
To make sure, drink plenty of fluids and remain in the bed as much as you can. Do not overdo activities.
A possibility of low lying placenta is likely. Please have this confirmed with an ultrasound. If your 20 weeks ultrasound showes placenta upwards and posterior then sure your bleeding was due to over activity or some stress. But if the reports showed placenta anterior and or low lying then take proper care, that could be a factor for preterm labor.
