throughout my childhood i was very fair.. in fact i was so fair i looked western!

my skin has got darker since then - i wouldnt say dark; but more brown/yellowey. recently i have started to apply a fairness cream which, dont worry, is dermatologically tested. it doesnt contain any harmful chemicals like hydroquinone.. only natural extracts of vitamin C and E.

i wish to only apply this cream for a period of 2-3 months.. after which my complexion is expected to be 'white.' hopefully, after achieveing my target colour.. i will stop with the application of the fairness cream and instead, maintain my colour.

i only want to do this 3 times a week.. i have combination skin. but i dont mind applying masks that are suitable for only oily skin.. as my cheeks occasionally suffer from the grease attack!

therefore, can u suggest any remedies for me?
i would appreciate it if they were OVERNIGHT ones..

I know that you stated your cream is dermatologically tested but i also know you didnt say your dermatologits reccomeneded it right? If i am wrong and your dermatologist did recommend it then continue on using it (I think saniya thought that and therefore thats what her advice reflected which was also right).

Do not worry you can certainly go back to your natural complexion by birth. First of all to lighten your overall complexion the best thing to use is aloe vera gel. Apply 100% pure aloe vera gel daily to the body and even face before going to bed. This is known to be one of the purest safest and most effective way in removing suntan and lightening the complexion. You can use a plant to get the gel or even buy it in a bottel from any pharmacy.

This is one of teh best facials for oily skin, Take one tablespoon honey add 15 drops of orange juice, one-tablespoon Fuller’s Earth (multani mitti) and one tablespoon rose water. Mix together and apply on the face. Wash off after 30 minutes.

-Mix egg white and honey and apply like a mask and wash off after 1 hour.

-Mix two tablespoons of honey with a teaspoon of lemon juice and a teaspoon of rosewater. Apply this all over the face, leave it on for about five minutes and wash off.

As far as overnight remedies go i really do not liek them. Overnight remedies will have the same effect as a facial mask applied for one hour.

The only overnight remedy that i think is good is application of aloe vera gel on the entire body and face.

thanks a lot for ur beautiful heart breaking comments.i never compelled u to follow my advice...u may follow anybody's advice as u wish..me or sanjana or mariam.i just wish to help u.i told u to follow ur dermatologist's advice since he has examined urskin and has given u a product to use for a certain period of time.u have also already begun to use it..now u have to continue using it as directed or else u will get side effects.this happened to my friend.she left the cream her dermatologist gave her and turned over to other remedies.i dont know y r u being soo rude and harsh.i really feel heart broken as i have always tried to help u guys but this is what im getting.but on second thought,y do i even care?u will be following advices and it would be u who would either gain benefit from them or suffer.
