Hi romitha,
Very sorry I am replying you so late... actually I am in may 2008 board and see messages there. Ya Al Ahli is bit costly. I dont have any insurance but as doc is good i have opted for it. Ya I have found the cost.. but would request you to go to al-ahli receiption information counter and ask for price list for delivery thats it they will provide you will a printed paper... they have pacakage for 2 days and 4 days depends mode of delivery. 7800 for 2 days for normal delivbeery everything included. rooms are very nice if possible have a look at it. But in compareation its really costly if we dont have insurance.
This is my first baby expecting by end of april. We had antenal classes in al-ahli for 6 sesion which was really informative. yes there was one session of epidural too... I am going to opt for epidural in al-hali if i am not able to cope with pains. The procedure is being explained to both of us. But 2 of my firends have delivered in hamad and they say they are really very carying. hospital is also good.

Hi I am from Doha as well and I am in 30 weeks of pregnancy. I am visiting Al Ahli hospital with Dr. Rizvi. According to me this is the best hospital and doctor in qatar.

hai sangita,
iam on my 14th week now.i go to rafa clinic and after 7th month iam planing to head to hamad.well i wanna know the cost of delivery in al-ahli without med insurance .do u hav insurance.i heard its expensive.do they hav emergency dept?also do u know abt epidural injection?
30th week, so ur expecting by april ist week dear?congrats is this 1st baby?take care.
