my 7 mth old daughter has dark skin and some fair patches. Should i apply any cream. How about Shafair Fairness cream, from Shahnaz herbal?

Hi,
As Nina rightly pointed out, please do not apply any chemicals even if you feel they are herbal based. They do more harm than good.
Some babies have uneven skin color and they outgrow it with time. You can give regular oil(preferably olive) massages to the baby to improve circulation.

Hello Yina,
Please do not use any chemicals of such on your new baby's skin, it will be potentially harmful and could damage her skin irrepairablly.

Make sure those light patches are not birthmarks...some babies have patches of lighter or darker skin...later, it becomes more even.

You may try some home remedies that other's have acclaimed to make your child more fair, but do not use any fairness cream...not until the child is at least 10 years old...even then, if it isn't detrimental, don't use it that early.
