Name: amala Please help me I am in 10th std and amma is going to shave my head as she has recieved complaint from the school that i ha ve lice in my head .I have long hair and amma istired grooming them .please help .amma is planning to shave my head in next week.

Ujwala Jiandani replied. hi Iam sorry for u but u definately do not need to shave ur head for this problem there are various treaments available for this problem there are some aroma oils like tea tree geranium and lavender that u can apply and sleep over that drives the lice away theres also a treatment available in some of the beauty parlours ( i tried for my friend in mulund mumbai) u can call just dial and enquire about parlours and get it treated ...... theres also some medicine called scaboderma (confirm with skin specialist) which can be applied and the lice go away .... pls tell ur amma not to cut ur beautiful hair mpvijaykhanna replied. sister plz dont shave ur head

Tell you mother not shave head. You can try this, fry neem leaves in coconut oil (equal quantity) strain it and apply this oil everynight and wash off in the morning. cover you head with a cloth to protect the pillow. this might smell a little bad but this will help. it helped me though. i see not point in shaving your head. when they grow back and if someone with whom you share your comb, towel, or pillow or even you friends have lice, you will get them back. growing a shoulder length hair will at least take you more than eight to ten months, if i am right. prasad replied. Go a head dear, but go shave for 5 - 6 6times in 2 weeks time and apply lemon on to your head, then u will not find any dandruff.

Hi it is your hair not your mother´ s hair she has no right to hit you.My mom hit me my whole life with belts,slap on the face ,restling matches.It is crazy.I´ m 22 and she hit me last year and I defended myself like I try before.I can never care about my mother as a child should.tell your mother that her abusive behavoir is damaging and that she should stop or find a way to move out.I hate it when some parents uses power tactics.I´ m from Canada and my parents are from the Caribbean.You can also try to get rid of your lice at a friend´ s house.

thanks for suggestion but my amma has tried many medicines and oils on my head but my lice problem persists and she is just not ready to listen ,whenever i try to argue she beats me and tells me to shut up.
