Hi dears,

Was wondering how much of Junk food - pastries, pasta (the readymade type) and noodles can be given to our kiddies. Kichu totally digs noodles and pastries.. He asks for nnooodal for every meal!! (I dont give him though)

If there is no MSG, is it alright? Or is it because of the Maida?

Reens, What are the alternatives to wheat, egg and peanuts? Milk tho i am able to replace with Soya , but am concerened whether he is allergic to maida and peanuts too. But how do i substitute for noodles and bread?

Kichu loooves yoghurt, but i cant give now. Neither curd. Any alternates?

Chalo. Tomorrow we're going on a weekend trip to Kanyakumari and some other places nearby. Its just 100 kms but feels good to wander once a while.

Paddoo Vani replied. Saw your post yesterday dear, but did not find time to reply. Even Rishi is a lover of noodles(maggi), chips and kurkure. He does not like anything sweet, so doesn't have pastries. But loves french fries and all such junk food.

Like you, I also do not encourage but sometimes he takes his thatha (!!) to the shop downstairs and gets lays :-(

I am not sure of alternates for curd, may be you shud ask his doctor. But I think giving bread is ok.

Rishi has started eating chocolates and I hate guests who come home with a big bar of chocolate for him! He wants to finish it off himself and easily opens the fridge door and helps himself too :-( donno how to control this.

Chalo love to Kichu. How was kanyakumari? Its pouring heavily in those areas na? Hope u all had a safe trip.
