Hi, everyone is talking about Birth classes but I am just curious what to expect from a class.
How much class is enough.

Also what books are you guys reading ? Any good recommendations.

Also secondly is anyone taking any exercise class ?
I just got into my second trimester and thiking of joining to gym so that I can exercise a little. Is anyone into Yoga ?
Do drop a line if you exercise. Thanks.

Hi Poochy, Good to know about what you are doing.
I do walk everyday in the evening. In the morning I do Bhramari Pranayam. I guess Breathing power will always turn helpful later.
Although have been a regular gym goer for the last 6 years, for the first 3 months I didnt exercise at all. Mom from India would keep warning me about not jumping much.
I do a little streches- some 10 mins or so. Was thinking of joining the Gym back and getting into atleast cycling and little weight usage. Still not got into it yet. I still have this fatigue feeling.
Yea i saw the exercise class at the hospital...let me know how your experience with it is and then i might consider it too.
On the reading front am reading WTEWYE. It was good but I thought a little overrated. How is Pregnancy guide week by week.
Also i like looking at daily articles at babyfit dot com and babyzone dot com.
Apart from that am not doing too much pregnancy reading becasue sometime back it got very overwhelming for me. I do light fiction reading and chant some Ganesh and Devi storas everyday.
I am a lot into Classical music also so I devote couple hours doing Riyaaz, listening and reading about it.
Do you live in the USA ?

Well, there are a couple of classes out there...

I'm taking a childbirth preparation class, infant cpr and breastfeeding class.

I also plan to join a prenatal yoga class. I used to practice yoga from last 10-12 years.. but from couple of months it got left behind due to work pressure, and then m/s etc...

So i plan to get back to yoga, pranayam and light walking after this long weekend. What about you??

I've been reading What to expect...., Your pregnancy guide week by week and i plan to get some more from the library including \";A holistic guide to pregnancy by deepak chopra\";! Somoeone also recommended \";A girlfriend's guide to pregnancy\"; for fun ,light reading... so yh i plan to do a lot of reading now that i'm out of the clutches of M/S...

tell me which books are you reading??

Good luck
Poochy
