How are you doing with both kids? How are you recovering now? How is your new baby Vinay doing? Is he giving you enough sleep, does he sleep well in the night?

Now I am on my way to the 2nd one, I am very eager to hear how your daughter coped up with the younger one. Did you have to do any special arrangements for her to accept her baby brother? How did you manage your pregnancy with a toddler? Where was she sleeping in the night when you were pregnant and how about now with the baby? Shalika shares bed with me now so I get very disturbed sleep some days.

I' m 18 weeks pregnant now, wondering how I am going to pull on with a growing belly. She loves to sit on my lap and lean on me which is impossible now. Did you lift your daughter when you were this stage? My daughter sometimes wants me to hold her and climb stairs which I do sometimes until now. My doc said lifting is fine except that it will give backaches. I have lots of questions hope you can answer me. I don' t hv any help here except my husb but she is clingy to me. I am so worried about managing kid, job and home in pregnancy. Give me some tips.

Also how did your delivery go through? I heard for 2nd timers it will be quicker and easier, is it true for you?

CK sumana replied. First of all don' t get tensed. I am sure everything will be alright. NO don' t do the lifting part, try to avoid that. Yes my little girl used to sleep with us when i was carrying too. I used to normally turn the other side, other then that i would say avoid that. The frst few months after vinay was born was tough with her. She used to target everyone who holds the baby and not like it. But it is for a short period, you need to keep advising them and also making sure you shower enough love and affection. But ya i bet it is tough till all of use get adjusted to the new baby. Vinay is a lighter sleeper then divya. But there are phases, and currently touch wood, he is ok. All the best and wish you a healthy and safe pregnancy and delivery.
