Hi busy moms,

Did any kid in this group is completely toilet trained? I' m wondering how full time working moms are doing the potty training? My daughter sits on the potty even in daycare n at home but doesn' t do anything... still doing it in diaper only. Am I doing it right? What are the steps to take to train them while most of the time they spend at daycare?

I know it is a pain. Same with my daughter, she tells at times, but not always. We have to take her every 2 hours and when we forget, she does it comfortably in diapers. I have scolded her but no result yet.

Sanya is now completely potty trained...and touchwood it just took 1 weekend and then she was 22 months. The way I did was that on one of the weekends, I removed her diaper and then she peed a couple of times on the floor...and then I used to say look Sanya you are wet (and she hates her colthes being wet)..and I used to keep on repeating that if you want to pee...tell mummy..we will do it in the pot....and then the same day itself she started telling me...
And then slowly she started telling me in the middle of night too..
So I would advise you to take off diaper for a couple of days ( I know its a pain but it wil pay off)..

Just be patinet and I am sure SHalika will soon be completely potty trained
