Hi,

This is Purvi from Mumbai ..I am in my 8th Month and am Due in the 1st Week of April'02 ( In Fact the Date is April 1, 2002 !! Yeah.. You're Right... April Fool's Day) It's my first visit to the site and I am thrilled to be here ... It's so nice to read about experiences from all you mothers-to-be ..

I would be most happy if anyone addresses some of my problems that I am facing :-

I have been facing leg cramps and swelling of foot.. Does anyone have any remedies.. ?? Pls forward the same..

I am also getting stretch marks.. How does one get rid of them post pregnency?

What is recommended to avoid them during pregnency?

Any Suggestions ???

Wishing everyone of you all the very best .. May you all get good thoughts during this period...No tensions please..

Hi,
Yes I'm very excited as this is the 1st one.No I'm not going to find out the sex of the baby(let nature reveal its secrets in its ways, whilst I keep trying to guess the mystery).Well Yoga camp taught us some 14 different asanas to be done regularly from 4th month onwards incl.some pelvic muscle exercises to facilitate birth. They answer all types of questions and doubts eliminating certain myths like massaging of kids(which otherwise I would have gone in for promptly).Since i have given up my active work life this really helps me a lot mentally preparing me for the transition from career girl to motherhood. The most essential are the breathing exercises that they teach u.Off course allof this has to be followed up religiously everyday.
A note to Tanya.Since U r away from amchi Mumbai,I presume it must be extra tough for U.How is it exploring China?
Do keep in touch!
Sunanda.

Prenatal Yoga-Srimoyi ( Baswati Seal )
I must say thanks to Baswati Seal madam for getting me through seamless transition during pregnancy period of Second Trimester. Now currently i am in 35 week pregnant. The prenatal yoga experience was amazing and I am still following it . In fact I would recommend Srimoyi yoga classes for all pregant women. Prenatal yoga
I am a known arthritis patient, and was recommended yoga by my gyn. After some searching, I found srimoyi yoga. The benefits of prenatal yoga are amazing. Ms. Bhaswati recommends lifestyle and dietary changes also along with yoga, to help improve overall health and fitness. Moreover, she gives personal attention to each person in the group, so her course is sort of tailor ... - Meghna [View Message]
Pre-natal Yoga
I have been practicing yoga since 7th grad. Yoga has been my saviour since i was suffering from acute asthma. I have been to various yoga teachers and i would vouch for Bhaswati Seal any day. Her knowledge in yoga allows her to give us an in-depth explanation of the postures and the benefits from each yoga exercise. She gives a lot of emphasis on how the posture needs to b... - Nithya [View Message]

Hi Neeta,

It is great to know you had a very short labour and welcome your little one. Advait name sounds good. I think I am the only one blessed with little angel. She is going to be two months old in couple of days. Right now she has started responding to us. My elder one adores her a lot. I moved on to Baby club. We can be in touch with our growing kids.pooja [View Message]
