hi all

hope all of u r doing well. i hv completed 32 weeks by yesterday. but suddenly i feel some leg cramps in the joints (hip and leg joints) and my mom says its the initial symptom that u r getting ready for ur labour in the next few weeks.

i am really bothered after hearing that - i hv still 8 more weeks to go... i want to complete min 38 weeks if not 40 weeks as like everyone i am keen in delivering a healthy baby. but my mom says - theres nothing to worry in this.

after 36 weeks - if the kids growth is ok - it will b fine to deliver at any time as she delivered during her 8th month and i was 8 pounds and a healthy baby.

so she says it all deoends upon the childs growth.

however archie/friends - pls let me know on this. i am bit worried on this. planning to go for an ultra scan this weekend.

saradha hello replied. to have leg cramps throughout pg.I had it throughout my second trimester and it has crept back in for the last 3-4 days.Its not an indicator of labor.Your legs start cramping coz of the extra load you are carrying now and pelvic joints losen during pg.Try upping your calcium intake and that will really help.Delivery after 36 weeks is considered full term.Im so ready to have my baby after the 37th week coz my OB considers 37 weeks as full term.I dont want to go one day over 37 weeks and will be starting to induce labor on my own.
