i heard she wasnt as fair as she is now when she started work in the movie industry. is that true?

if so.. do you think she could have been under the influence of ' Fair & Lovely' and other products?

All the actresses you see on t.v have tons of makeup on, infact its not even makeup more like body paint. I think Aishwarya Rai has a natural light complexion if i am not wrong. I am not sure if Aishwarya Rai has used skin lightening products but certainly many actresses do. As far as \";Fair & Lovely\"; I personally dont believe it is a very effective cream at all.
I think you are looking for ways to lighten your skin, you can lighten your complexion if it has gotten dark by carelessness but you can get lighter than your natural complexion and for that i can suggest some tips for you.

- Allways use sunblock lotion on face and body during sun exposure and specially during the summer time.

-Blend turmeric powder with milk and apply on face. It removes tan Aloe vera gel is also good for removing tan

-Beauty comes from within so be sure to have a healthy diet. Take one multi-vitamin pill, it improves your skin complexion and makes skin look healthy.

-Tropicana juice or frsh fruit is known to give the glow to your face.It reduces the dullness too

-Mix 1 tbs Besan + 2 tbs. yogurt + 1/2 tbls lemon juice , mix well and apply to tanned areas such as face for 30 minutes.

-Lemon Juice Astringent Simple : Simple squeeze some lemon juice into a glass jar, and dab some onto your face every morning, let it set for 10 minutes, then wash it off with warm water followed by a moisturizer. Fresh lemon juice will last for 4-5 days.

-Face pack: Just mix 1 teaspoon plain, unflavored yogurt with the juice of 1/4 orange. Combine and smooth onto face. Allow to remain on skin for five to ten minutes, then rinse with warm water. The vitamin C and alpha-hydroxy acids in orange juice are great for livening up the skin, and yogurt is a lovely gentle cleanser and nourisher.

-Mix 1 tbsp. lemon juice and 1 tbsp. rose water and apply on face and leave at least for half an hour and then rinse it with cold water.
