Hello All,
Just a few days back, i was appreciating my son and was fine with his so called lil tantrums..Recently they have got out of hand..I know they are part of growing up and his Dr say just leave him on the floor for a few minutes ..

Just today morning we had a bottle battle..Sid wanted milk in a bottle and we asked him to drink it from a sippy cup.He didnot have a very good breakfast and i knew he was hungry and wnated milk since it was milk time..But this guy wud not take it froma sippy cup and cried for almost an hr, i offered food but he didnt want that either..I dont know how to stop his bottle habit.any ideas are welcome..

At this age he definitely knwos wrong from right.HE knows what makes us angry.but he will do it anyway..I tell him nicely, then raise my voice and sometimes sri even punishes him byt putting him in the playpan.but it never works,Is this just a phase? or we need to do something to discipline him?

I usually dont say NO to everythg he does,nahi tho how will he explore things. but at times when i say NO, he shows a I dont care attitude..Has the terrible 2s started or is it wrong way of parenting ?
I dont hit him but i m sure iw ill loose my cool if this continues..Plz HELP !!

I can understand how depressing it is when you handle him all thru the day and he is throwing tantrums, but I thought terrible twos started when Rishi completed one year:)

He is a Shaanth bacha, he plays on his own and all that, but these days 'playing on his own' has become climbing on the dining table, stand on that and try to reach to open the freezer door/ Pulling a chair to the door and try to open the knob/ sneak in to the bathroom and have a cold water batha nd putting mugs and soaps into the flush.... and the list goes on! Nothing is not reachable to him these days. I left my Kajal at the bed side the other day and he had messed up his clothes and my bed cover :(

He cried his heart out even when the car stops in a signal. Either the car has to keep going, or we have to let him out of the car in the road! Imagine!!!

Even I try to be very patient and mainly because I am not with the child all the time. If I scold him, I am sure he gets the message, but will not care. He will continue doing what he does. Now his favourite game is climbing on the diwan from the side and then running on it to the other end. So scary!

Boy babies are like that, nothing could be done. I don't think he will understand punishments now. Just continue being patient. Sorry, if I have not given any advice here, but Sid has a friend equally naughty and cranky here!
