Dear friends

Been long time since I wrote anything here... had been crazily busy at work whole of last week. How have you all been? Maurni, so happy to read about Shalein's birth and how you have got help now. Good for you. Post pics whenever possible.

Regarding Rishi's doc appointment, had finally been to her on Saturday clubbing his MMR due (due a month ago:( actually). The doc said the leg is a bit bow shaped, but nothing to worry since most of the kids walk like that which becomes abso fine when they are 5 years of age.

I also asked her if I should see a neurologist for his lack of response. When we were in her room, the doc called him by his name and he turned and smiled. She asked him to come to her and take her mobile and this one happily ran and took the phone and placed on his ears and started talking in his own language.

After a while he was busy opening the draws in the room and we all called then, he never turned. The doctor said he is only learning to concentrate and that it will develop great if he continues to do that. She asked me not to worry and found him very normal. He is 10 kgs now (finally) and is 33\"; doc says he is a tall baby.

Rest all fine. Hope things are going good at your end too. Paddu has disappeared - no news from her since long and her mobile is not in use too. Miss her so much. Ramya - I will call you tonight.

Good that you got this issue out of your mind.I was laughing reading about rishi's activities in the doc's room. He is so similar to megha..i guess all of them are same at this age...so much fun to be around them.
All well here..just busy as usual. also we are moving to a new home next week so packing,etc going on.

sohappy to read abt rishi's chk up update.u must be feeling sorelived and so am i..kitna bhi confidence ho ki sab theek hai i guess our maternal anxieties take over so much taht we keep worrying.
am sure rishi will do absolutely fine...when did he start walking without support.rahul has still not started doing so.he keeps 2-3 steps then sits down and crwals as he finds that much faster.,he does walk well holding onto furnitutre...

You must be feeling lighter now that the heavy weight is off your chest..
I am very glad. My neighbor who is 1 month younger than Radha also walks little differently and doctor has said he will re-evaluate after few days, basically kids at that age do walk on their toes many times, just for fun.
And regarding not answering when engrossed in something, Radha always does that, and until I saw your post few days back I always took it for her concentration and not as indication of any problem. Maybe I did not take that matter seriously, but I am glad now for that. Because I can imagine mental trauma it must have caused you abt what Doctor is going to say abt all this...

Things are fine here. I am busy with work too and I was always one lazy bum, you know that.
But I regularly check for posts here and feel happy, sad with all of you. I know, I know, this passive participation is no good. But kyaa kare, maybe its because I don't like to type (as again you know that I type a LOT whenever I DO).. I postpone writing to my friends also many times.. if I can reach them by phone, I am quite prompt...


Radha is 1 year and almost 6.5 months now. She can talk few words, not too many, but she can express all her demands well without words too.. As many parents have said, her terrible twos have already started I think.

2 weeks back, she fell down from the slide in play garden and bled a lot. She was hurt badly in forehead.. Luckily I had reached home just 5 mins before her fall and rushed her to hospital (less than 5 mins from my home by God's grace).
Since her wound was big and deep, we got a plastic surgeon to suture her.. it was a surgery with general anesthetia etc... terrible. I still shudder with its memory....
